There is added interest being shown in completing blockchain-related courses in the last couple of years. These are being offered on edtech platforms, say from UpGrad. Blockchain, as we know, refers to distributed internet and distributed ledger. Cryplos in fact are baked by blockchain.
Many learners prefer long-term courses — courses spanning 12 to 18 months. There are Masters courses too. Blockchain fundamentals can be mastered even by watching YouTube videos. However, to do coding you have to try out some libraries and master some languages. Thus it is advisable to pursue at least a six-month course.
Recruiters do not check the duration of the course. Any course helps you to get short-listed for the interview. However, it is difficult to crack the interview if you have not coded. Thus a long-term course including a Capstone project (simulated real-life job environment) is a great help.
It is difficult to find faculty who can teach Blockchain. There is dearth of people who understand the distributed ledger technology or the blocks and crypto.
Here is an area where early learners and early movers will have an advantage.
