According to the CCI order, Google was expected to open up its operating system to all domestic players. Even Apple has to follow suit regarding its app store. As it is feared that this could prove to be a damper for further investment in India, the Government is likely to have a light touch regulation for them to allow innovation a fair play. The firms may have to give valid and justifiable reasons for not onboarding apps on their platforms.

Google is planning local manufacturing of Pixel phones and this could halt till the judicial process is through. The phones are meant for Indian and export markets, and Google cannot make two sets of phones.
